Dr. Shayani...appeal of denial

I received a denial from UHC due to an exclusion in our policy. I am now pursuing an appeal and have consulted with Dr. Shayani from the ObesityLaw Institute. Has anyone else here used Dr. Shayani in an appeal attempt? Please let me hear from you!!! Also, I have contacted Walter at ObesityLaw.com. I have heard back from him and have given him info on my particular case. It has been 4 days, and I haven't heard back from him. Has anyone used him in an appeal?? Please HELP!!!! Cindy, Walter Lindstrom emailed me back within one day only to tell me that he had limited success dealing with written exclusions. I have found a local attorney that is going to try to help me. YOu might also want to read the letter I have written as my personal appeal. You will need to approach this as an appeal for an exception to a specific exclusion.
