Insurance Hell

I have been denied. My ins. co. says they don't pay for weight loss surgery under no cir****tances.I have been denied for the appeal as well. So what am i supposed to do now. I am still in the same health situatin as before, if not worse. This only leaves me to live a much shorter life and probably die earlier.I don't have the cash to pay for this surgery. Barbara, Im sorry you having a hard time with your insurance, believe me when I say I know the feeling. I read your profile, and you state that it has to be a medical neccessity. Call your insurance and tell them you want the COMPLETE written text on weight loss surgery, all exclutions, requirements, and guide lines. There maybe some loop hole in it. I dont know about your state, but in mine they cant deny you an appeal. They have to let you appeal. To find out what laws your state has for insurance company, go to Mo. state medical commissioner on your computer and you can look them up. I hope this helps.
