Hi, Last December i got denied because i went out of network so in july i started all over again..quickest i could get in wtih the only network doctors in the area..which they are really backed up..Peoria Surgerical Group... So far they have approved me for my consulation but that was just a referral. The big one is still to come..but i got a probelm..my dad just went on strike and i have insurance through him and he told me yesterday taht he doesn't know how much longer he will have insurance..i tried telling him about COBRA and how you pay to continue the service with insurance for up to 18 months but the union has yet to discuss this with them and the union lawyers haven't told them how long insurance will last on strike..and the papers haven't come yet for COBRA..i just hope he will pay for me to be on his insurance...When i talked to him yesterday i just wanted to cry..any suggestions on what i can do...i tried to get insurance on my own just for the surgery but BCBS wont' accept me because of my weight..at least that is what the salesmen i talked to told me..thanks Kelly
