CIGNA PPO- Class Action Lawsuit, Anyone?

I'm just soooooooo angry that they can treat us like this. If they refund me my and my company's premiums for the last five years with interest, than I don't need them to approve me. They are discriminating against us. I bet if all of us who are being denied by cigna & their "new criteria" got together and threatened to SUE them, they would change their tune. Hang on, I'm startin' to get a visual...I see lots of us large people in a room, being interviewed by John Stossel or Diany Sawyer on 20/20....

Hey Im with ya Deb!!! Lets give ol' Diane Sawyer a call. Maybe we should see what Al Roker can do for us. Of all people he should have some understanding and sympathy for us. I agree, they are discriminating against us. This diet B.S. is just rediculous!!

Deb, You made me laugh, but your remarks are so true. We really should ban together against this comapny....I'm sure some hot shot lawyer would love to sink his teeth into cigna and get some big bucks.... If you find one let me know....

I would absoulely LOVE to join in on this as I said in my last response, but I just want to let you know that I have CIGNA HMO here in NY, and after they screwed me over, I filed a complaint with the NY Department of Health in the Office of Managed Care...I am just putting together my paperwork for them, and they will do some sort of investigation...So, maybe try to contact your state's Department of Health or the medical commissioner's office to file a complaint...Enough complaints can't hurt....

I told them that I am the benefits chairman for my union, which is true. I told them that they may save a few thousand dollars on me but my company will switch to Horizon just as soon as our contract expires. This will cost them millions!!! Nothing will please me more than dropping Cigna from our benefits package. For the fifth time they called me to say they cant find my file. I havent even been denied - just ignored. I have complied with all their requirements so they just pretend I dont exist.
