State Insurance

I am a teacher with BC/BS of Mississippi Insurance (AHS Network). This plan has a written exclusion policy. Is there any way to get around that? I don't understand how this can not be covered but if I develop diabetes or other obesity related conditions, they will have to pay for it. What can I do? Please help.
