removal of excess skin

I'm having problems with my husbands insurance co. denying coverage for the removal of the excess skin on my thighs, arms, buttocks, and breast area. They already approved and did the panniculectomy as med necessary and left me with "dog ears" on my hips which now they won't let my surgeon fix either saying its all cosmetic! I'm getting depressed with how I look because I thought this surgery would help me be healthy and normal looking....not a sagging freak show! HELP !

Teresa- I have had several plastic surgeries and been left with a dog ear. My surgeon fixed it without charging. He said that anything that needs fixed within 30 days of the surgery is part of the deal, just as any follow-up visits would be covered. Amy
