Insurance dilema

On May 2, I had a consultation with the surgeon. I had my psych evaluation on May 23. I am waiting approval from my secondary insurance because BCBSKS will not cover it. Here is my dilema. My husband just lost his job which was the secondary insurance. We are covered until the end of June. I will be able to put my family back on the BCBSKS through my employment however gastric bypass is not covered. We can COBRA just me but with my husband being without a job this may not be feasible. Also, he may get a job in a couple of weeks but we have no idea with whom or what kind of insurance coverage it will have. I think I'm in limbo. I do need to have this operation but I think I'm out of luck. Just looking for a solution. Stacy
