2 year post op searching for medical insurance approval

I am two years postop and I am in better health than I have been in over 20 years. I stopped all diabetes medicine including insulin shots the day after my surgery on 5/8/01. I am now self employed as a mental health counselor and I am researching medical insurance possibilities. The salesman that I spoke to yesterday said that he was scratching his head when I said that my diabetes went away.....what are my chances of getting affordable medical/hositpialization insurance. I am 58 years old and I do take one bp pill each day 20mg vasoctec (generic).
