insurance letters

i have been having problems with mamsi ppo they now have sent a letter to me saying i need 6 months of failed diet by my primary doctor, also spoke to a person there and they said that they dont usally cover this surgery

Hi Tammy. I know for a fact that MAMSI does cover this surgery, with that said, it still doesn't mean they won't make you jump through hoops. Do you have any documentation from your doc's about any weight loss attempts? If so, use that, if not, buckle down and do a physican supervised diet for 6 months and keep everything documented.
