cigna open access denial

hi there i was denied by cigna on april of 03 ..i have since sent in my appeal which they have received may 5th and state they will let me know in 15 daysor write me to let me know they need to gather more information.I have struggled for over 24 years with my weight of 307 bmi of 53.2 co morbilities are hypertension,diabetes,oseo arthritis of the knees, severe heat rashes,back and joint pain,heels spurs have had uterine cancer in the past to name most....i have complied with all of the insurance requests for this surgery... i still await to hear from this insurance .where do i go from here if i am denied??
