Hospital asking for out of pocket up front, but deductible met????

So, that explains it.  They didn't refuse service but I sure did enjoy the billing person at the surgeons office reaming her out on the phone in front of me.  Just because she was so *****y about it all.  Commission on WLS.......hmmmm.

I would have enjoyed that, too.  They ask everyone with private insurance for an upfront portion no matter what they are there for.  MRI exams are king of $$$ and they are included.
