Just wanted to share a positive story. My doc submitted my packet to Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield on Monday and we had approval in 24 hours. I kind of feel bad for bad mouthing Anthem previously for other issues ;-)

So, I know it isn't the case for everyone, but thought I'd share for other Anthem BCBS folks!

I have them but our employer excludes weight loss surgery boo! Oh we'll, ill just have to explore other avenues.

Anthem Blue took 2 weeks for approve my request, but they paid well and my out of pocket was not too bad. I had to write a check for $518.00 at the hospital for the 2 days and just my copay for office visits with the doc...All other expenses were covered. So for $518 it gave me a great and wonderful gift of a new beginning and life.
