How long does it take to hear back from United Healthcare?

VSG on 02/21/13

My surgeon's office submitted my paperwork yesterday. I called today and they confirmed it is in process, in review. How long does it take United Healthcare to get back to people on the approval?

I haven't submitted yet, but when I spoke with UHC, they said they usually respond in about 5 days. Good luck. Let me know how they did.

Congrats Sara! I have UHC as well just waiting for my approval stuff was sent in Jan 24th and more Jan 28th well the rest of it.. i am calling Monday to get an update.

I sure hope they only take 5-7 days....I cant wait. My surgeon will submit paperwork Monday or Tuesday and I hope to know by the first part of the following week....I am not very patient! (I too have United Healthcare) eekk Good luck everyone.
