Bariatric surgery one in a lifetime

 I have been told I have a one in a lifetime bariatric surgery clause in my husband's UHC insurance.  I am seeking RNY to DS revision.  Has anyone had any experience with this that can give me some pointers?  Thanks 

 
Self-pay.  If your insurance has already covered a WLS surgery, you would need to switch to another insurance company for coverage.

Not necessarily.  We had such a clause, so they were going to revise me to another band (NOT!).  Did some digging and there was ANOTHER clause that stated something to the effect of "unless a second wls proceedure is indicated " for failure, etc.  They used that to get my sleeve.
