Healthnet PPO/POS or a HMO???

i am currently on Healthnet PPO/POS but there are 4 people at my job that are a Healthnet HMO and had Gastric Bypass Surgery and Healthnet paid 100% of it... i am totally AMAZED!!! i am going to change to a HMO in November but it wont take effect until January 2011 - does anyone else have Healthnet that had this surgery??? by the way IM IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA...
