Weigh****chers and proof of exercise??

I'm currently in the process of pre-authorization and have run into a few snags.  First, my doctor and my insurance company are saying that my Weigh****chers information is not valid for proof of weight loss program because it was not six consecutive months.  However, I went at least 2 times a month from Jan to June, how is that not 6 months??  Any advice?

Second, they say I need proof of exercise.  What kind of proof do the typically need? I did the 3 day breast cancer walk in 2008 and did quite a bit of training for that.  All I have is pictures though.  I have since been a member of the YMCA and a local gym buy my work, are those records sufficient?

If any one has any/advice I would really appreciate it.  My Insurance is Premera Blue Cross.

Thanks for the help.

I was denied because I applied for the pre-auth w/weight *** and was told that it has to be supervised by a registered dietian and/or doctor. Weight *** doesn't allow their reps to provide letters or anything stating they assisted with a documented program...so I am on month 2 of starting over!

I am currently in month 4 of Weig*****chers at the advice of my PCP.  But he is still requiring me to see him monthly just to cover our butts.  I have BCBS of AL so I am not familiar with your insurance.  My insurance requirements say the if you do an "organized weight loss plan" such as WEIGH******ers, that you only have to see your PCP every 60 days instead of every 30.  My PCP makes copies of my W**W**ers weigh-in records at each visit and makes it part of my medical file.

You can do this - I know it's frustrating 'cause I'm right there with ya!
