UHC Nurse coordinator

I am having a terrible time with my nurse coordinator with UHC... 

I can't get her to call me back.  When I had a time arranged to call her she called me an hour and a half later than scheduled and when I asked her if I could call her from a conference room so I could have some privacy she told me that was impossible..

I feel like this woman is standing between me and my surgery! 

Can I request a new nurse coordinator?  Does anyone recommend one that they had a great experience with?  Can I ask so speak to a manager in regaurds to her professionalism? 

I feel like I need to be careful when working with this because I don't want to become "that problem person"  and for them to find a reason to deny me.   I am paying loads in premiums, deducibles, and out of pocket expenses that I deserve some respect and someone who can effectively communicate with me. 

It would be one thing if we were paying phone tag but she is not calling me at all.  I have a direct line and I gave her my work e-mail and I was away from my desk 3 times today for less than 10 minutes each time.    

Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I had a really good one.  She always called when she said and has been super easy to deal with.  Her name is Martha Cabrinha and her number is 1-866-534-7209 ex. 77310.  She is there from 7:30-4 pst.  If she doesn't answer leave a message.  I hope things work out for you.  Good luck!

I have also found out that they really don't have much to do with getting approved as long as you have all of your requirements.  Mine called twice and I was approved within 7 days!

Thanks Connie-  almost 2 weeks later and she still hasn't called me I finally talked to her back up and I  am on her calendar for this week.   It just seems a little ridiculous! 

I am moving on I have other things to worry about.   It is good to know that they don't have much to do with your actual approval.  I have been pre-approved pending psych exam which in next week.  Hopefully I will have a date soon!
