Yay!!!!  Congratulations!  I am so happy for you!!!  I just love it when things work out!! The day I got my approval, I was thinking....Hmmmm. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket, obviously today is my lucky day!

Ok. My info was submitted to the insurance company on June 15 and I got a response today (June 21)....I'M APPROVED!! YAY!!  My surgery date is going to be July 20. I couldn't be happier!!!!

How exciting!!!  And it was so quick.  I still have about 2 weeks before I'm done with the supervised diet phase.  Can't wait until they can get the insurance filed.

Hello there. My surgery went fine, although while he was in there he found a massive hiatal hernia, which turns out requires the same bypass surgery that I had.

Normally I would have stayed 2 nights in the hospital, but I had to stay another night due to my blood count being so low, and they aren't sure why.   I was just before needing a blood transfusion. Still not out of the woods in that department yet.

But overall I'm resting at home comfortably, still very weak and very sore. I'm taking one day at a time.
