New here and wondering what if you have one list of weights from one Dr.'s office and another list of weights from another Dr.s office, would the bariatric center be able to take both lists of weights and pick and choose which weights they submitted to insurance? All in an effort to meet the req. BMI rules? If your BMI is so close but a few ponds shy has anyone every "padded" their weights to just make the required BMI and submit this to bariatric center?

Thanks,
Sussie

Padding the medical records is insurance fraud and you and your doc could go to jail for that.  No rational doctor is going to risk that.  The original records must be submitted, not an overview written by a 3rd party (bariatric surgeon).
