Aetna VSG Status

Just called Aetna and they have received all my info. The insurance rep told me that it is in pre-certification.
They also told me that they have until 4/20th to make a decision. I hope they are holding it because they are waiting to update the policy. My friend who is getting the lap band already has a pre-surgery date of 4/30th, so basically she is approved. We both have Aetna, the same Dr and our files were submitted on the same day. Aetna's pretty quick to deny or approve someone so hopefully this is good for me.
