Obesity Lawyer

Has anyone used an obesity lawyer? Can you tell me about your experience? The only one I can find is Walter Lindstrom and I was wondering if there are any others. I emailed him earlier this week and have not heard back yet. I'm sure he's super busy so if I don't hear from him in a few days I will email him again.

I have used the Lindstrom's and they are wonderful.  We are still waiting to hear back from my appeal, but the letter they put together for me is REALLY good.   I know that Kelley is out of the office this week and due back Wednesday.

Thanks Michele. I probably will give them a call next week sometime if I don't hear from their office. I am just worried they won't accept my case and then I don't know what I'll do!! I see Dr. Moazzez for my band. He wasn't my original surgeon but became my doctor when he took over my surgeon's practice. I like Dr. M, he is really nice. What surgery were you denied for?

I have been Dr Mo's patient for over 3 years.  He is absolutely incredible & the office staff (especially Pam) are just amazing.  I am trying to get my Lap-band revised to VSG.  I was really successful with the band the first year or so, but then my body started hating it and I couldn't tolerate any fill.  Knowing what I know now, I wish I had done the VSG in the first place.

They will probably accept your case.  They are really fantastic & Walter has personal experience with his own surgery and they all really care.

How long did it take Walter's office to contact you? I am an impatient person!! How did they write your letter? Based off your medical records?

I talked to them that day.  I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that Kelley who handles most of these things was out of the office until Wednesday.  I am sure she will get right back to you.  If not, I would call again on Friday because she will probably be busy doing the catch up thing after being in the office.  I have been really pleased with their support.

Please send me the attorneys number, I had it once back in 2008 when I had to have a revision. He was great, I now have a friend that needs her gastric band removed but insurance won't pay for it. I want to provide her with the attorney so she can go forward.
