Aetna Choice POS II- Still working...

Well... continuing the process, I got my medical records, both proving 3 years of 300+ pounds, and six months from the diet doctor I went to, each that had weights, exercise reviews, and behavioral "modules"  My doctors office was very pleased with this documentation, and said she thought there would be no problem with it.  Lets hope! 

Then i went to psychologist, and got my eval, and he also said that he had no problem approving me from a mental health perspective and he filled out all the forms from the surgeon office.

So now, I have a surgeon appt on Wed next week.... and then it all gets submitted!  Yikes!

what kind of questions did the psycologist ask?  What did you say to have him approve you?

I was declared depressed in college by an on campus therapist.  i told him it was due to how heavy i was. and my rapid gain. i gained 30+ pounds in a little over a year.

 

Good Luck!  I have Aetna PPO too and will be submitting my paperwork to them in March.  Please let me know if you get approved and if so what you provided.  I have yet to meet someone that has gotten the sleeve approved through Aetna, and cant wait to hear.
