My question is.....

Does any one know if the Horizon, Traditional BCBS accepts revisions from band to DS or Sleeve for a person with 43 BMI? I'm also covered under my husband's BCBS Direct  as a secondary insurance.

Hi, I do not know that specifically, but you all you need to do is call your insuance and ask that very question. They will ask for the CPT codes for the revisionary procedure when you call, so be prepared and get those from your surgeons office. If they say yes, ask what all the requirements are to be approved. Many insurance companies have specific requirements when it comes to revisions. Good luck! Billie
