I tried getting insurance to cover my surgery -- but was denied...even appealed.  No luck.  I was devastated...and decided to pay for it myself.  As you know -- it's expensive.  Well, I've now lost 90 lbs and feel awesome and on the anniversary of my surgery -- literally on the exact day --  I was offered a new job that MORE than covered the cost of my surgery.  There is no way I would have even looked at this other job when I was 250 lbs.  Anyway -- just thought I'd share -- as I thought it was pretty amazing.  No complications - the easiest thing ever for m and best decision of my life -- hands down.

I am glad to hear you say this.  I am also a self-pay b/c my insurance is quite clear they want nothing to do with anything weight loss related.
