Peer-to Peer Dr. Insurance appeal success rates?

i was denied today .. i have tri west also.. we are stationed at  dm in Arizona... how long did it take to hear back from them.. what all did you put in ur  appeal letter? any words of wisdom? i feel hopeless right now

Ask your surgeon to do a "peer to peer" call.... all he/she does is talk with the Medical Director.  Mine was overturned as soon as they spoke.  You will hear back from them normally within 3 working days.

PLEASE don't give up... get persistent.

If that doesn't work, then contact your PCP about the appeal process.  You can go online and do a search for appeals... all the information is there... I truly believe tho that when your surgeon talks to the Medical Director things will change.
