Sleeve Gastrectomy has its own CPT code for 2010

43775 Laparoscopy, surgical, gastric restrictive procedure; longitudinal gastrectomy (ie, sleeve gastrectomy)

Now that the new CPT codes have been published and are beginning to be distributed, the new CPT code for VSG has been confirmed to be 43775.

Now its just a matter of time and patience for more insurance companies to consider this procedure a regular one and not "experimental and investigational"
