Does anyone have Cigna who was assigned a Case Manager adn what they do for you?

I have Cigna, I didn't have a Case Manager. But I just had surgery on Monday. Do they start calling after surgery? Good luck with Cigna got approved in 2 days after they sent my paperwork in.

My plan has a case manager. I think the case manager is the one who approves/disapprove the surgery.
