Health New England sent me a letter...

saying that they have approved my surgery but that does not mean that they will pay for it. I'm a little confused as to what this means. I am living paycheck to paycheck at the moment and while I don't think waiting any longer for my RNY is a good idea health wise... I am already saddled with student loans and a car that is about to die. I definitly do not need another massive debt.

Has anyone else ever recieved a letter like this? What was the outcome?

Do you have the actual verbiage?  Sometimes there is a disclaimer that states that this letter only address medical necessity, not whether or not it is a covered benefit under the coverage you have.
