Argggg!!!!

So im 6 days away from surgery and my insurance company called me today to tell me that I've been denied!!!

After all the test, evaluations, money invested in transportation since i have to travel to another city for ALL the procedures, they wait til 6 days before to tell me im denied!

Why?
Because they dont have the results from the mandatory EGD i was supposed to have had. So i APPEALED because I did have an EGD and it was my surgeon who did my EGD!

I contacted my insurance comapany and they said that as soon as they get the papers they need then they would take 24hrs to decide if i was approved or once again denied...

I also contacted my surgeon's office but no one answered so i left a message. Hopefully all of this will be resolved before my Nov. 3rd surgery since i have submitted my medical leave for this school's semester and i really NEED this surgery!


ARGGG!!!....

Just resubmit the missing info and I am sure you will be approved.

thanx for the support...i guess im just really stressing things right now because i feel so close yet so far (with being denied and all)...

Dont stress yourself just make sure they resubmit right away and I'm sure everythng will be okay and it will get approved.  Especially since that was the only reason they denied it, something similar happened to a friend of mine.  So dont worry just have them submit it.  Good luck and congratulations on your Nov 3rd date.
