Anyone gotten approval for VSG from Excellus BCBSNY?

I was just wondering if anyone with Excellus BCBSNY has gotten approval for VSG.

I was denied when my surgeon first submitted for preapproval because the VSG is "Investigational".  I have since submitted an appeal and I am impatiently waiting for them to respond.
