Question: lst appeal with bcbs Federal - VSG
How long did it take for you to get your answer on your 1st appeal with bcbs federal? They told me it would take 30 to 31 days.
Had a revision from the Lap Band to VSG. Loving the VSG.
BCBS Federal paid for the removal of the band, but denied the VSG.
I did self pay for the VSG and now appealing the denial on the VSG so that I can get reimbursed.

Started Program Weight July 13, 2017 - 194.2
Before Surgery Weight December 27, 2017 - 185.0
Current Weight - February 2018 - 161.0
Well they will approve for the RNY and Lap Band. My surgery is the VSG. It is a revision from a lap band to vsg. I did met the requirements. I guess I'll have to wait and see what they say. It will be 30 days on Oct 22, just around the corner. I'm just a little impatient. Since, I had the surgery already on May 20, 2009. I did self pay and now I'm asking for a reimbursement.
