Capital BCBS PPO Has anyone had any problems?

Has anyone had any problems with getting approved with Capital BCBS PPO, Im located in NJ? When I call them they say the surgery is covered 100% and if I go to one of their Excellence facilies I don't have to do all the other steps the psych eval, 6 month diet. Any info would be great.

im in pennsylvania i have the freedom blue from highmark blue shield mines is cover 100% after i meet my deductible and i have 6 months too but so far i only really got 2 more months should be getting my surgery in january or so.. good luck

I just went for my consultation at Temple Unniversity and it went really good but I do have a problem because they didn't tell me before the visit in any of the paperwork that they charge a $350 program fee that is not covered by insurance. So I'm feeling a little discouraged about that. Im going to try some other places tomorrow. Good luck with your upcoming surgery.

I did find Dr. Patel at Atlanticare in NJ where I live and they stated there are no hidden fees just copays so Im happy about that. I do have a PPO as well. There are three different places I can go to in my area and two of them have program fees and one doesn't from what they have told me so far. I go for the seminar on Nov. 13th, I just hope they really don't charge these large fees. I really don't want to go anywhere else because then I have to do the 6month supervised diet and I would like to bypass that if I can. Thanks for your response....
