Insurance Update

After all this wining I have been doing for the past few weeks, of being approved for Open DS vs having Lap DS.

This is what I found out this morning...........

CPT 43845  with BCBSIL, means that I was approved for ANY method of DS using that CPT code.

So....

I am having BCBSIL send a letter/and contact the Drs office to let them know that Lap DS would be covered if they bill it under 48345.

I am soooo excited.....
