UHC now covers sleeve gastrectomy
A DrC from http://thebanddoctor.com posted a notice over on the VSG forum that UHC now covers the sleeve:

Hope this helps others here - tho doesn't help me any, due to the exclusion in my company's new policy. They also exclude acupuncture, fertility treatments, and several other things I consider essential. I'm NOT happy. But moving forward anyway.

I am in the same boat. We have UHC and our company has excluded the very same. I also require fertility treatment. I don't think it's right that an insurance company will pay to kill a child but not to create one... I also think it's unethical that companies are even allowed to exclude things like weight loss surgery because it is very much health related, it isn't necessarily cosmetic!
