Financing for Self Pay: Any good Companies?

I am researching companies to finance lapband surgery through here in FL. I have heard horror stories about care credit so I am shying away from them. I have good credit and stable job (been there 10 years). Has anyone had any positive dealings with any finance companies? I have looked into these:

Medicredit
I am also seeing what my bank can offer... I am looking for good rates and excellent customer service.

The only company I am familiar with is Care Credit.  I have never used it myself but my partner has it and used it pay for a bunch of dental work.  He's happy with them.
