Health Insurance Knowledge for the Unemployed

I've been a member of ObesityHelp for almost 7 years. During that time I've met some wonderful people and gained a wealth of knowledge. My mother is a bit skeptical about sharing so much about oneself on the Internet, but the exchange of knowledge is a great thing! Just this week a friend who I actually met through OH, we had the same WLS surgeon, shared with me some very helpful information about COBRA. I lost my main job in June, and my health insurance will end September 15th. The same day this friend told me about COBRA another friend told me about an insurance option for Florida residents.
