Ky. Access an option?

I got recently denied from Anthem and they said I was eligible to get Ky. Access which does cover wls on an individual basis,and was wondering if this could be an option to go? My husbands ins excludes and I am getting my letters and info together for my appeal to his union. They said once I send the papers in that will determine whether I have to bo on the policy for a time or not. But I hear they are expensive. I'm waiting to get the info on the cost.,but I didnt know if it would be worth paying for it to get the surgery or go ahead an appeal and see what happens first and then go to plan B? Any sugestions? Thanks
