Experience with Peoples Health Medicare Supp Ins?

Hi, everyone,

I have Choices Plus Ins provided by Peoples Health (formerly Tenent Choices) in southeast LA.  My PCP just submitted the certificate of medical necessity and I'm waiting to see what happens next.  A rep at the ins co told me they will cover whatever Medicare covers, and I know Medicare covers some forms of WLS.  However, the ins co Med Director will have to review and approve my request.  Has anyone had any experience with this ins co?  If so, how difficult was it to get approval?  Did they require any prelims before approval, etc?
