BCBCnj....push the 6 months?

I have Horizon BCBS of nj which has the 6 month waiting period...i have a BMI of 38 and comorbidities of sleep apnea, GERD ...

Surgeon is ready to go..just have to go to PCP...trying to figure out if there is a way to speed it up!

Did you ever find out anything.  Myu surgeon is good to go-BMI 40 and comorbidites of hypertension, prediabetic, cholosteral, joint issues, etc.  Have history with my PCP of dieting and being overweight for over 5 years but am told my insurance wants 6 months of supervised diet.  I have BCBS of Michigan.

Well, I just had my 4 month visit....BCBS doesnt give up!

Im ready to head to Mexicvo for a VSG...dont even want to bother fighting the fight for coverage....ugh!
