Dang it!!! BCBSNC

I feel really stupid… Insurance confuses the heck out of me. I’ve been going through the program at Mission Hospitals in Asheville NC for 4 months now. I am almost ready to have the surgical consult. I have BCBS of NC. Well, I got on BCBS website, and it looks like Mission Bariatric center is not a center of excellence. I wonder, if I have to switch to a center of excellence, will my stuff transfer with me? All of the nut classes, Dr. visits, lab work, sleep study, etc… Sheesh. What a situation!!! Has anyone else run into the same situation?

Just get a copy of all your records from the clinic. It shouldn't really matter where you did your diet and etc your insurance should still take that. Now the surgery is just where they would want to be done at COE. You should not have to start over! HTH
