BCBS & CANCEL PRIMARY

Hello Everyone,

I found out BCBS PPO( my 2nd insurance) has change there policy as of 7/2009, stating I would only need 3 months of dieting...vs my primary insurance (which is a HMO)wanting 12 months of dieting and other list of things....I am thinking about terminating my HMO, and go with BCBS....So I dont have to wait the 12 months for an approval. My surgeon is a BCBS PPO in network...

What are your thoughts?

The only thing I can think of is... Have you started you process with your current primary insurance? I mean, going thru the process of getting ready for WLS? If so, some insurance companies might consider this pre existing. I am not saying they will but they could.
