Sooooo confused!
Ok. So I have Blue Shield of California as my primary insurance and Medi Cal as my secondary.
After trying to figure out the scoop on how much the surgery itself is going to cost me (approximately), I'm even more confused than when I started! Here is some info I found from a surgeon site regarding the DS for example:
So can someone tell me that even if I have 2 insurance companies that will most likely cover all the cost of the surgery, I STILL have to come up with $8k+ to pay the surgeon to even get it done. And then they'll pay me back? Yikes. If that's the case, I believe I'm up poo creek with no paddle. :o(
