Yes, I was approved in four days.
(I found out the name of the case manager assigned my case and called her three times - i only left messages- but- on the fourth day it as apprroved.
I had my pcm write a letter which addresed the following:
it listed myh BMI plus other issues like hypertenstion, obsructive sleep apnea and gerd.
(it is not necessary to jump through all the hoops that are imposed on other blue ross members.
no dieting, etc. etc.)
The Federal contract supersedes all regional medical policies. You do not need a chest x-ray, bone density, etc.
