New Insurance Changes! Plese read!

As of July 1 2009 Blue Cross Blue Shield IL no long requires 5 year medical history or 6 month supervised diet it is now 3 months!!!! But they do still require at least (2) co Morbs! Check the site below! And check yours this might not be the only insurance company making these changes!!!!!

Infact they are now sending my appeal for re- review because of these changes!!
It seems like things might be getting easier for us seeking out WLS!

WOW, that is some good news. I am going to check on mines and see if anything changed. That would be good for me!!!

This is great.  Cigna change also.  you only need to do a 6 month supervised diet, with 1 Co Morbs and no more 2 yr medical history.   We all much check out our insurances.

 OHMYGOD!!!  lol.. that is AMAZING!  I didn't have the 5 year documented history and am on month 3 of the medically supervisd diet thing!  I was all ready to be self pay!  Oh my gosh, I can't hardly stand it!  Thank you thank you thank you!

I was approved July 2, 2009 under this new change although I had everything I needed they were giving me the run around for the 5 year history and as of the 1st I didn't need it anymore. Hopefully this change will stay!!
