Might as well appeal for VSG again While I search for a different Surgeon!

Game face on and preparing to continue the fight! I thought about it since I have to wait anyways to find another surgeon and clinic, it dawn on me that I might as well appeal for the second time for VSG as well as submitted the IMR. I hope this time it will be approved or at least they can think about it while I search for a new surgeon! Now it will be just my luck that I don't want to use the surgeon that I had before it is approved for him; however I do know that since he is like the head of the department it will probably be one of his colleagues that actually perform the surgery on me but we will see. Next Tuesday my journey continues at another clinic and I know that quite a few people with the same insurance as myself have been approved with no problems there.

So insurances can approve and deny different doctors/procedures in your network?

I don't know how that works because the people that I have talked to that were approved by Pacificare thru San Diego County had different doctor or clinics. This is my first experience with the insurance game because before I had state funded insurance thru Medi-Cal. My income levels have somewhat gone over the limit for that so I had to get insurance thru my employer because it's a requirement to be insured to work for the county of SD.

I plan to do just that but it's just so discouraging!
