New Insurance Question

I have a question about insurance coverage (might be a dumb one) anyways.. I currently am the one who carries our insurance and since my husbands job changed his insurance is better and I know they cover RNY at 90% anyways, my question is... If his insurance effective date is 6/1/09 (tomorrow) is it okay for me to call the insurance company and get all the stuff lined up or is it too early? Should I wait until my cards come in the mail in 4 weeks or so? Thanks for all your help in advanced!!!

Once your insured, you're insured.  Don't wait for the cards - your insurance should have you on the roles as of today and when you call  - they should be able to look you up.  Good luck and don't let them give you any hassle.

Call then you can be looked up by his ss#
