As a full time student, I am covered by Aetna Student Health.  I know that they will cover it when it is medically necessary, but they refuse to give me any information on criteria.  I've already read Aetna's general criteria about the surgery, i.e. 3 month vs 6 month regime.  I'm just wondering if anyone else says been approved by Aetna Student Health.  If so, what was your process.  If not, what was their reason(s) for denial.

Call back and ask for it again...If they say no then ask for a supervisor... Inform them that they are required to give it to you in writing.

Thanks again, Wendi!  You were right, I just need to be persistent.  I finally received an answer.  It looks like I have to do the 3 month regime that all other Aetna members are completing.
