united health care APPROVED!

abejita posted that you were approved with UHC for VSG, I was told that UHC would not approve VSG, I also live in Texas and my husband has UHC.  Did you just have the Dr, send in the information?  My insurance does cover  WLS just supposedly not the VSG ( they say its experimental) sorry im rambling but I am excited that I may have a chance to get the surgery I want.
