OK I have had my surgey (self pay) , love it , I am in the begining and I feel it was a great thing I did for myself.

Prior to surgery I was diagnosed with a Hiatal Hernia and the surgeons were going to fix that at the same time as WLS. My question is can I ask my insurance to pay some of the hospital and surgeon cost? Hiatal hernia repair is covered.
Any words of wisdom would be greatley appreciated!
Thanks
Jen

Probably not at this point.  Though try it!

If you had worked on getting it paid BEFORE your surgery, you would have had a better chance.

I would absolutely say submit it. WHat can it hurt?? Have you visited the VSG board yet? Come on over.
