BCBS NC Blue Options

Can anyone tell me if bcbsnc paid for their wls. I am kinda nervous about getting approval because I haven't had the insurance very long (1month) but I have not been treated or told I needed wls so I'm hoping they will not consider it pre-existing. I

They cover WLS , specifically RNY and lapband as long as there are no exclusions through your employer. If you want a different type of WLS, you might have to appeal.

Is this through ur workplace? Can I buy a BCBS of NC policy for this?
